Favorable business and investment environment in Ninh Binh Province
Mr. Hoang Trung Kien – Director of Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh province said that in 2017, the industrial production, the import and export activities of the province exceeded the target plan.
In 2017 Ninh Binh Department of Industry and Trade closely followed the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, actively implementing Resolution No. 19-2017 / NQ-CP dated 06/02/2017 by the Government to issue policies and solutions to remove difficulties for enterprises. As a result, the situation of industrial production and commercial activities in the area continued to change positively.
Specifically, the value of industrial production in 2017 in Ninh Binh reached over $1.7 billion (up 25.05% compared with 2016); Total retail sales of goods and services are estimated at $1.3 billion VND, export turnover is $1.1 billion.
In 2017, Ninh Binh Industry and Trade has cut down, simplified many administrative procedures, speed up the implementation time. Specifically, the department reviewed and simplified 11 administrative procedures in the field of oil and gas, commodity circulation and food safety; 50% reduction of handling time for administrative procedures that needed to be processed in 10 days or more and at the same time, speed up the implementation of online public services. To date, the Department of Industry and Trade has provided 56 online public services, thereby helping businesses save time, travel costs and foster transparency in administration procedures.
By the end of 2017, the Department of Industry and Trade in Ninh Binh has implemented and resolved over 5,000 administrative procedures in a timely manner, creating favorable conditions for the citizens and enterprises.
